3 SEO Secrets Sending Google Traffic to A Blog Fast

Normally the mere mention of Search Engine Optimization send chills down the spine of many marketers especially newbies, when in fact it’s not all that technical. The bear basics are quite logic to understand which is why I decided to write this post and shed a little light. Getting started with S.E.O can be both frustrating and disappointing especially when results seem so impossible to achieve. But always remember that there is nothing that time and knowledge cannot remedy, the question is how long are you prepared to go?

Online success be it Search Engine Optimization or otherwise means keep going until you succeed, not until you grow tired of trying. Now the Best Ways to Make Money online, are in fact free ways to make money online. But you will need training on how to perform a certain task and the needed guidance to master each step, and not be misled by the term “Free”. You must focus on how much you can learn, not how much you can earn by not being part of the contest after that “Magic Button” that have been PCs into personal ATMs.

While the method like Blogging can be free by starting a free blog, which is normally a URL within a URL and may prove actual Google ranking to be a little more challenging than anticipated.

So yes, proper SEO will require financial input if you want your blog to actually rank in major search engines. Believe me, nothing drives traffic like proper SEO Driving Google Traffic mainly depend on keyword research, keyword placement and the presence of unique compelling content. Successful blog post or article writing depend on three major keyword type placement, Short Tail Keywords, Long Tail Keywords and Anchor Text. And that is the basic requirements if you want Google or any Major Search Engine to actually notice your blog.

But just before we get started with the keyword placement, you also need to bear the following in mind. It comes highly recommended that every individual page and post on your blog should be in excess of 1000 words, which is why topic and niche research goes hand in hand with creating compelling content. When researching keywords with the Google Keyword Planner you need to concentrate on Average Monthly Searches and Competition. Always try to keep your competition from Low to Medium.

Short tail Keyword Placement – Short Tail Keywords are single keywords that best describe your niche and/or topic. You should always try to have at least one short tail keyword present in both your Domain Name and Site Title (Also known as your H1 header).

Your site H1 header should not exceed 55 - 60 characters because that is the maximum allowed by most major search engines. Your site title must be unique and inspire interest within your niche, based on proper niche research and identifying a common need.

Long Tail Keyword Placement – These are normally 2 – 3 Short tails used to make up a certain search phrase and you should always try to also have at least 1 – 2 of them in your post title (Also known as your site H2 headers), and tell Google exactly what the content is about. Remember that direction is much more important than speed, and getting your blog in front of interested readers takes time because proper keyword research most certainly does.

The H2 Header should not exceed 155 – 160 Characters, which like the H1 Headers are the maximum allowed by most major search engines. Your post title is also the Meta description when you do individual S.E.O for each post with plugins like “Yoast SEO” and “All in One SEO”. With individual post SEO you also get to choose an individual title to each post (Or H1 header), turning each post into a mini site on its own to show up in search engines as an individual site or link redirecting back to your blog primary domain.

Long Tail Keywords also goes well with your anchor text which should populate each individual page and blog post (In excess of 1000 words).

Anchor Text Keyword Placement – This is the search phrase your visitor is most likely to enter into their browser for a search, which is why identifying that common need is so important. You need to know what your visitor is most likely to be looking for.

Driving Google Traffic is all about direction and with Billions of Monthly Searches it is of utmost importance you direct a specific interest toward your own blog. Anchor text or search phrase suggestions should populate each blog post, but take caution as not to include too many variants or search phrases. Use anchor text in context with your content without constantly repeating a certain search phrase. Anchor text must form part of the conversation, and professional writing is not about using big words to impress but rather by using simple words in an impressive way.

In the end it really is all up to research, from keyword research to product research and niche knowledge. Knowledge is the only way you get to create compelling and interesting content that provides your visitor with a reason to stay on your blog, inspiring curiosity is always complimented by offering a solution. When your content is authentic and compelling enough, you will never have to sales pitch any audience ever.

Adding The Alt Attribute To Images – Every blog post must have a “Featured Image”, and a perfect mixture of your keywords make for a highly targeted “Alt Attribute”. This is easily done when uploading a particular image, or just go into your “Media” file from your WordPress c-Panel and access each image individually. Think of your Image Alt Attribute as you would with your site title, page and post tile.

A Little on Compelling and Interesting Article Writing – Article writing is among the top favourite traffic driving tactics used by super successful marketers worldwide, perhaps because of the vast options. Blog post writing, Guest post writing and Article writing are pretty much the same thing which opens quite a lot of doors with Google traffic.

Title and Description is the key to leveraging article writing and it’s much the same as Post Title and Meta Description. Basically with Guest posting on sites like Hub-Pages, Medium, Issuu and many more it is your Profile that determines engagement, because links may not be allowed with most major players. Your aim is to have your content inspire sufficient curiosity so your readers want to meet you by visiting your profile. From there they must be able to access your professional work.

With Article Writing you have the option of including a signature, which should contain the link to your personal blog but again your profile is extremely important. Your content must be populated with the relevant keywords and search phrases, much like you should do with your blog posts and pages. You must create the kind of content not elsewhere available on the internet, which is not always as easy as is often suggested.

In Conclusion – There are many different topics and views on How to Make Money Blogging, but in the end it always comes down to proper S.E.O, Keyword Research and Compelling Content. But all of that means little when you do not offer a proven solution, so as an Affiliate Marketer you must be sure that your offer is in fact what your visitor is looking for.

With proper targeting not only may you receive much higher traffic volumes (Based on keyword Competition), but the quality of your visitors will increase exponentially as your blog grows. A Thousand Visitors that stay on your site (In excess of 15 Minutes), means a whole lot more than A Million “Hits” with a 100% Bounce Rate.

Yes, I’ve heard a lot about Alt attribute and I do so, but when I put alt attribute to image then the yoast plugin notifying as a red dot and says you have used an alt attribute to image. I mean to say when I used al attribute then it’s become green to red dot.

    How do i solve it?

      Hi Arvind,

Pleasure making your acquaintance and welcome to my blog. I have heard much about Yoast S.E.O but am not quite familiar with the actual operation system. I’m using the “All In One S.E.O” plugin, and have no problem with Alt Attributes. Much the same as Yoast, only All In One S.E.O is free to use. Hope this helps.

    Hi Akiyash,

Only a pleasure and welcome to my blog. I noticed you have a free blog with Blog-spot, have a few myself. However, a free blog is a domain within a domain and may result in S.E.O being near impossible. Allow me to suggest you get a dedicated domain and hosting. And THIS is one of the training programs I used when I got started – https://easyinternetmoneyandjobs.com/gsniper3

Hope this helps, but don’t hesitate to contact me should you need any help.

      Hi Sharon,

Thanks for the kind words, and welcome to my Blog. You can get High Authority back Links through Methods like Commenting and guest Posting, truth be told I personally haven’t gone the email route with Back Links. Try using a tool Like “Put My Link” and search for the High Authority Sites within your Niche with the CommentLuv enabled. As for contacting Web Masters you may first want to look at your Site SSL Certification, this activates your site https protocol which categorizes your site as Secure. This may even increase your Subscriber rate, as people are more likely to add personal details on a Secure Site or offer a High Quality Back link.

Your Blog Content looks Great and extremely Professional, just have your hosting provider activate your site https protocol with SSL certificate registration. They must also ensure that the http protocol redirects to https.

      Have a lovely Sunday
